FAQ's

Do you have anyone who offers lessons at your course?

Yes, we have a PGA Professional that offers single lessons and package deals. Call the Pro Shop and ask for Harry.

How much does it cost to play a round of golf?

We have various rates depending on the time of day and the day of the week you play. Senior, junior and student rates are also available. Check our rates page for more details.

We had an extra player show up to join our group. Can we play a fivesome?

Like any course we encourage groups to only have a maximum of four (4) players, but we do make exceptions for a group of five (5) as long as they maintain their position on the course.

I saw a sign that said $100 for membership in the Pro Shop. Is that for greens fees? Do I have to pay that to become a member of the course?

No, our association is not affiliated with our regular course membership. Each player is responsible for his or her own greens fee and cart in all association events.

Does your course have a driving range? Practice facility?

Glenwood does not have a full function driving range, but does have a practice facility. We have a practice putting green, a chipping/bunker play area and also a 165 yard practice range where you can hit and retrieve your own golf balls.

What are Glenwood’s operating hours?

We are open from sunrise to sunset, seven days a week. We are closed on Christmas Day and if weather makes the course unplayable.

Are tee times required at your course?

We do require tee times between 6am and 5pm daily. Be sure to book tee times in advance for weekends and holidays. Also, if you plan to come out, call before so to be sure the course is not closed for an event/tournament.

I’m not a member at Glenwood. Can I stil play?

Glenwood is a semi-private course meaning we are open to the public, but do offer memberships as well.

Our group only had/has time to play nine holes. Can we get a rain check?

Glenwood does not offer rain checks nor has a 9 hole rate. If you do play 9 with a cart you are entitled to a $5 refund (not included for the late twilight rate). If rain is in the forecast you are playing at your own risk.

How much is it for a replay?

Greens fees at Glenwood are all day rates. Meaning once you pay the greens fee, your greens fee is good all day. Cart rental for 18 more holes is $13.

If I don’t have my own set of clubs can I share my cart partners?

No, its our policy that each player has their own set of clubs and own bag. Club rental is available in the pro shop.

What is your dress code at Glenwood? Can I wear jeans?

We have a very loose dress code here. Jeans, denim shorts, shirts with a collar and tee shirts are all allowed. Shirts without sleeves and tanktops are not permitted. Tank tops for women are allowed. Please do keep in mind before coming out that golf is a sport where your attire should always be important. So dress appropriately.
